Preparation Time: 30 minutes
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon oil
1 can whole kernel corn, 12 ounces, no juice
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Drop by spoonfuls into very hot grease or oil (375-400). Turn to brown other side. Remove and drain. Serve right away.
